On May 6^th, The WorldStar Awards took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, during Interpack, the long-awaited international packaging fair. Represented by a delegation led by IPC President, Mr. Fayssal Frem, UNIPAK, UNIPAKNILE and IPC attended the ceremony and took the stage to collect the three awards collectively won for the innovative and sustainable packaging designs submitted at the competition.

The WorldStar competition results were announced a few months ago after hundreds of candidates from 41 countries submitted their creative designs. The winners were informed of their victory after intricate evaluation of the expert panel of 45 judges.

UNIPAK won for the “Crispy Hot Meal Box” and the “Medical Devices Packaging Solutions” submissions. UNIPAKNILE won for the “Blender Insert Replacement”.

The ceremony, followed by a gala dinner, shed light on the importance of innovation and creativity to stand out and was an excellent opportunity to network with prominent packaging suppliers from all around the world brought together under one roof.
